I build brands and the teams that power them. I’m April Oberst, a New York City-based Creative Director and Designer specializing in visual storytelling for global CPG, lifestyle, and beauty brands. From Marc Jacobs and Adidas to SharkNinja and JetBlue, I lead end-to-end branding, advertising campaigns, and packaging design that moves seamlessly from on-shelf to on-screen.
I’m a firm believer that great work starts with a great team. As a hands-on leader, I am able to set the standard, coach the team, and do the work, staying immersed in the craft to find the edge in every brief.
I thrive on building cross-functional partnerships and inclusive, collaborative, high-performing studio cultures where best-in-class design can thrive. Passionate about the future of design, I teach undergraduate graphic design and facilitate workshops on typography, packaging, and emerging tech (GenAI).
