Davidoff partnered with Capcom to collaborate on a new summer 2021 limited edition Cool Waters fragrance to promote the 75th anniversary of Street Fighter. I was tasked with designing the bottle deco and new secondary carton while maintaining ‘the hero’ brand archetype and brand codes.
Our strategy was to transform the limited edition model by looking at market opportunities to collaborate and introduce Davidoff Cool water to gamer consumers. I was challenged with designing a premium packaging execution and developing a branding identity with Davidoff Cool Water and Street Fighter DNA embedded. The selected design features an elevated way to incorporate the game characters and logo with tone-on-tone graphics and a UV spot gloss varnish adding to on-shelf visibility.
