About the project
For a more modern, premium, and vibrant design for better in-store impact, I leveraged the bright unexpected pinks in the new Starball imagery for the Victory Edition packaging. Reflecting the bold new premium UEFA identity, its impactful deep blue color code is accented with a pink and purple glow. The striking design is built around an attention-grabbing close-up image of the adidas starball that’s instantly recognizable by football fans everywhere.
To support the launch of Adidas X UEFA Victory Edition I created a campaign that is rooted in football culture. My goal was to design advertising visual that stood out from the pack design, was dynamic — showing movement, and engaged consumers through action oriented copy and layered graphic treatments. The advertising visual was then translated into the sixth edition packaging design Adidas X UEFA Dare Edition.
Designed for style-conscious football creators, the Dare Edition collection has a contemporary, premium look. The bold pack design focuses on the legendary adidas starball, which is embellished with dynamic stripes for maximum impact. Highlighting the new, upgraded UEFA brand identity, the packaging has a striking graduated dark blue to cyan color code. The juice inside is tinted light green, evoking a fresh, sporty feel.
