About the project
Charmingly simple with a festive quality, the Marc Jacobs Fragrance Holiday 2020 campaign imagery transports you to a metallic holiday moment. The initial concept sketches were inspired by structural forms, oversized elements, and highly reflective metallics with simple contrasting matte white backdrops. A play off the pendant charm adorned gift sets, the campaign concept brings oversized bubble pendants to life with a tension between a whimsical and intentional structural display.
The stacked bubble letters awaken a festive balancing act heroizing the fragrance bottles in an abstract design with a nod to holiday evergreen’s triangular shape. The emphasis on the typographic treatment provides context acting as a platform and added messaging literally elevating the fragrance bottles in heroic and impactful displays sure to delight.
The festive holiday packshot and digital assets live within the holiday 360 for POS merchandising, digital still life, lifestyle, and animated gifs for social and paid media advertising. A design and photographic execution as charming and elevated as the woman who wears the fragrance.
