About the project
The Perfect Marc Jacobs bottle is a fun mix of elegance and modernity. The weighted glass base is inspired by the grace and style of a classic perfume. At the top, the cap is crowned with an eclectic and multicolored collection of mismatched charms. Each charm was selected by Marc himself and injects a touch of his style into the design.
The playful, modern, and bright new fragrance, Perfect Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum for her is a comforting floral scent celebrating self-love and being #PerfectAsIAm.
Through creative exploration, I provided charm options and color palettes for the bottle cap and carton designs. I led the art direction for illustration layout and managed retouching to translate Jacky Blue’s original hand-drawn paper-cut illustrations into mass-producible designs, delineating the concept across the full product line up, designing ancillary body lotions, evergreen gift set packaging, and complimentary 360 campaign collateral. These assets included the stylized bottle shot and product eCommerce design and photography art direction for sales images used on the Marc Jacobs website and across all global retailers. I also worked on all in-store and OOH advertising campaign layouts and translating the campaign and pack illustrations into digital assets collaborating with the digital innovations team for use in digital retailtainment virtual store gamification, Snapchat and Instagram VR lens’, and Picsart collage challenges.
